So, this is the first of the spine strengthening series and you pretty much can tell how strong (or weak) your back muscles are when you get to this part of the practice.
It is so easy to raise the front part of your body by pushing down on your hands but the whole goal of this posture is to use your back muscles to lift your head and chest up and back, both legs together like a cobra’s tail.
It’s like doing a back bend against gravity. Tony doesn’t like this one, he thinks it’s his worst posture. I don’t mind it, it’s not a favourite but I don’t hate it either.
